still not get a discount for bundles of internet and ipad line
on nov 2024, agent told me to create new line of internet and buying ipad and add ipad line (mobile line 5026) to get discount. internet will go down from $70 to $30. i activated ipad on Nov 14. then agent says it will be effective on internet bill after 30-45 days. it is over 45 days now. i also chatted to mobile customer service. they confirm ipad line (5026) is activated and internet bill will low down to $30 as promise. however, until now, the internet bill is still not 30$. if the ipad line doesn't have any effective on getting a discount, why do i have to pay $20 for ipad line every month. l create an ipad line to get a discount for internet bill only but it seems like useless. xfinity is a [Edit: Inflammatory].
i chat to internet team to ask about this. they say they cant check a discount of mobile service then transfer me to mobile team. this is mobile agent tells me:
"Minh, I have checked all the details from my end, and you were promised to get the iPad with your Internet services bundle included. The mobile bill for the iPad will be added to your account. However, there will be a compensatory promotional credit added to your Internet bill to adjust the mobile bill charges. The promotional credits need to be applied by the Internet billing team. Unfortunately, the team mistakenly transferred the chat to the Xfinity mobile department for the credits. As mobile billing agents, we do not have the ability to apply the credits to your Internet bill for the iPad charges. But don't worry, I am escalating this concern to the dedicated Internet team. They will be required to add the credits to your Internet bill on a priority basis. I will also add notes to your account so that you won't need to repeat yourself. Should I quickly connect you with the team so that the necessary $45-$50 credits can be applied to your Internet bill as per the bundle offer you enrolled in?"
after that, mobile agent transfer me back to internet team. again and again, over 2 hours im being transferred between internet team and mobile team over 6 times. no one cant solve my problem. what should i do to get a discount that i should have received?

I am having the same exact issue except they promised me a bundle deal where if I added an ipad it would be $30 for Ipad and $20 for internet making the bundle $50 a month. I have now been charged $60 for internet and $30 for the ipad, and the "deal" was never applied. I have spent about a total of 3 full days on the phone and in the online service agent chats and all that happens is I get transferred around and no one is helpful. One of the agents actually lied to me and said it would be resolved for me no problem, to get off the chat and of course it was not resolved and I was charged again. This is a scam and its very sad I will have to be ending my service with xfinity. I have never been more aggrivated about something like this in my life.
