stable connection

We’ve been experiencing intermittent internet outages for a while now. The connection drops randomly during the day, and Zoom/work calls get interrupted. Restarting the modem does not permanently fix the issue.

Internet speed itself is unlikely to be the problem. We would like this checked for possible modem, cable line, or signal issues rather than basic troubleshooting.

Could this be related to the modem, cable line, or a neighborhood signal issue? We would appreciate escalation and a technician visit if needed.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_ex69l6 We don't typically skip basic troubleshooting as a good chunk of time, the basic steps are able to resolve the connection concerns folks bump into. We would strongly recommend reviewing the Internet Troubleshooting Tips post our forum experts put together. There is some great information in there on what to look for and how to access that information. Let us know what you find on your end and if you need additional assistance.
