Spam messages directed to Comcast user

Good afternoon,

I have been receiving many spam messages with a Comcast account as the main recipient. The address always has the same pattern: it starts with ‘user’ followed by numbers, like:

user[Edited: "Personal Information"]@comcast
Can Comcast please do something about it?? Thank you!

Good afternoon @eqr and thank you for letting us know about the spam messages you are receiving. I would encourage you to report these spam messages to our dedicated Customer Security Assurance by following the instructions listed here https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse under the 'Report Spam and Phishing Emails' section.

I have reported every message to missed-spam@comcast.net and abuse@comcast.net for over a year, but those emails keep bouncing back. It is almost like you guys do not want to take care of this problem. Your spam system is awful. My Yahoo account handles this much better—it's amazing!

I have been getting multiple emails for around 5  products sent sometimes about a minute apart…13 in the last 2 hours! Enough already! how do I remedy this? I’ll end up spending all day just reporting each of these. HELP Please.

Same here! I have tried forwarding every email to missed-spam@comcast.net and abuse@comcast.net, but those emails keep bouncing back. Their spam system is awful. My Yahoo account handles this much better—it's amazing!

I see you're having a similar issue, and I know what a headache spam emails can be. As posted by my teammate above, I would contact our Customer Security Assurance team for any repeat issues. For now, you can rely on filters or custom rules to ensure you get the communications you need, which you can read about here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience. We are always working hard to improve security, and we appreciate your patience as work to eliminate these unwanted emails.

I've tried advanced filtering options as well as moving junk emails to the spam folder, and nothing solves this problem. Xfinity needs to address the issue on its end because clearly its current technology isn't up to eliminating the deluge of spam before it arrives in our inboxes. When can customers expect a solution?
