Sound goes in and out withX1 box

The audio on my x1 box goes in and out. If I connect something else to my tv with the exact same cord and exact same hdmi or just watch my normal tv the sound plays fine. But watching through the x1 there is no sound. I can’t even get a live person on the phone to order a replacement.

Thanks for the troubleshooting steps you have taken, it does sound like there could be an issue with the Xfinity cable box, the quickest way to get a new cable boxes is run down to our local store and pick one up for free, we can also ship you one out via our shipping process which is three to five business days.
