Someone else activate my modem
I am in a different state and need to activate the modem that was sent to my residence in Washington. Is there a way that my friend there can activate my internet? Add their number to my account or ???

@user_t2vg1z Thanks for adding a post. Yes it is possible to have someone at home activate the modem for you. First make sure you set up your online profile. Then add them as a manager, with the steps here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/primary-and-secondary-accounts. You can add them for now, and remove them later, or let them stay. They will have ultimate access, until you remove or demote them down to viewer. Meaning they can make changes without your permission while being a manager. Let us know if you have any trouble.
