Sleep

Good wvening,

I need assistance with removing the 'Sleep' feature.

I have Xfinity but it is wireless. I have googled information and spoken to someone within tech support relating to my television going to sleep after 3-4 hours of no activity.

This feature is very irritating and disrespectful to me. I like to watch one channel all day so what gives Xfinity the right to ask me am I still watching or give me a black silent screen if I don'trespond in time.

I have Fiestick as well, the tech took control of my television and turned that feature off and my television was fine until Xfinity did an update sometime ago.

Can you PLEASE see if someone can assist me.

Thanks,
Katrina

@user_c75o3y Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. I hope you are having a lovely day. Do you have an X1 box? If so, you can go into your settings and turn off Power Saver. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-power-preferences has a great walk-through and instructions on how to manage those.

To manage the power settings on your TV and your Firestick, you will need to consult your manual or reach out to the manufacturer.
