Sketchy call from a Comcast number regarding my modem's Security

I just got a call from ‪(800) 266-2278‬. The person said that the security on my Motorola modem was recently set to Low. Is this for real? My understanding (and Google's understanding) is that only you, my ISP can configure my modem:

"You cannot change the security settings on a Motorola Surfboard SB6120 because it is a dumb bridge modem, not a router. It does not contain a built-in firewall, Wi-Fi, or user-configurable security controls. The ISP (Internet Service Provider) automatically locks down and configures the modem's settings remotely via a configuration file"

What that call for real? Can you please check the Security on my modem?

@mc567 thank you for using the Xfinity Community Forums page to reach out. It does sound like you may have received a scam call from a bad actor. In fact, that specific number has been used in multiple instances with fraudsters attempting to spread misinformation with the hopes of compromising your account.
