service transfer

Hi Support,

I recently initiated a service transfer request that was "approved". I can log into the Xfinity app and see the new service address. I am moving in today and noticed that there's no coaxial wall connector on any of the walls in the house.  Can you please help?

Thank you!

gdubbc Thanks for posting on our Community Forums. That seems pretty strange that your new home wouldn't have any coax outlets, though I've seen it before with older homes. We should be able to schedule a technician to assist with the installation, though there could be a charge applied to the next statement. If you'd like, you can also check out HelloTech, which is a partnership we have for local technicians, and most of the time can provide a discounted rate for being an Xfinity customer.

Hi Thomas - thanks for taking the time to reply. Confirming that it's a an old house that I'm moving into. Though the address showed up as being serviced by Xfinity, so I am also surprised there's no existing connection in place.  Is there any chance of waiving the install charge given the situation?  I do have my own equipment already.

Thanks

We can look into the address and see what options are available for you before proceeding with any scheduling. Please send our team a direct message with your full name and address.
