service to new construction house

I'd like to ensure that the proper cable is routed to my house from the street. This is new construction build as the former house burned down. How do I go about getting someone to come out and see if a cable is in place or not? Thanks in advance.

user_qxzy86 We are happy to help you. In regard to the cable going to your home, there will only be one kind. Was a connection already established to your home?

I am unsure. There may have been something there 25 years ago, but I'm unsure if its there now. Currently the only thing coming from the street utility pole is a temporary power line. Is it possible for someone to come out and inspect what is needed for my installation?
