Service still down after failed routine maintenance

I got the message about routine maintenance in my area and that services would be down for a few hours. About 1am to 6am but then at 8:20am I get the message they weren't able to complete planned maintenance and they'd be continuing to work during the day since they couldn't finish it overnight. I could tolerate that, but it becomes the greatest issue for me because I am a Work From Home employee using my ethernet only, work provided computer. Today now marks the 3RD DAY I WAS UNABLE TO WORK MY SHIFT! There has been not the slightest update or estimate on repair time frame. Heck, I don't even get a reasoning behind why I'm now going to be at least 3 days short on my next paycheck. Could at the very least let me know what and why happened! App won't get you anywhere, phone system just gives you the same message as the app. I've been with Xfinity for years, probably at least 7 and I've never had this happen before. In my current position it is severe enough that I'd switch to another isp as soon as possible because it severe enough that to have costed me 3 days of pay with no end in sight. They won't compensate me my lost wages, probably won't even give an explanation besides maintenance issues.
