Service outtage since 9/2

I am writing to formally log a severe complaint regarding a continuous, unresolved internet service outage at my residence that began last Thursday, September 3, 2026.

According to your outage tracker, the cause is listed as "network damage." While I understand that physical infrastructure repairs take time, it has now been six full days without any clear timeline for restoration.

This prolonged downtime is causing significant professional disruptions. I work from home and completely rely on a stable, high-speed connection to download large files and take critical client calls. My mobile hotspot speeds are entirely insufficient to sustain my daily work requirements.

As a result, this outage is actively hindering my ability to perform my job duties.Due to the complete lack of service for nearly a week, I expect the following actions from Xfinity:An immediate, pro-rated billing credit applied to my account for every full day of missed service since last Thursday.

A direct, updated status report detailing exactly what is being done to repair the network damage in my area, along with a concrete Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR).

I have been a loyal customer, but the length of this outage and the lack of communication are completely unacceptable.

Please escalate this matter to a supervisor and provide an update as soon as possible.

Hello @user_tgwmmn my apologies for the inconvenience. I understand your frustration as I work from home myself and rely on my connection to assist customers like yourself. Please allow me to take a look and see if there is more support we can provide. I have to be upfront that we(including supervisors) receive the same updates you do in the Xfinity App and online. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

Press Enter to send it.
