Service Outage Update

Im so discouragedby the way Xfinity is handling communication post-hurricane. My home lost power for less than 14hr in the wake of Beryl and I know how fortunate I am in that respect. The rest of my subdivision only just received power last night. I understand how service restoration works and it takes time and effort, but now that Xfinity claims to have restored 70% of service to Houston an ETA of "as soon as possible" is no longer acceptable. 

My job is remote, I've used all of my PTO this week because I couldn't get an answer from anyone at Xfinity other than to check the app and the blog they post on once in a blue moon. I need to know if I should relocate, shop other wifi options, or if my service being restored is on the horizon. Please help.
