Service outage in our area -- We might know the reason

Hello,

We have service outage. Xfinity status is they are investigating. But we are confident it is caused by a new optic fiber provider company laying cable in our area. Signal disappeared right when they started digging in our neighbors' backyards.

How can we rout this information to real Xfinity Techs who are investigating the outage in the system?

We know exactly how important it is to have your services running up at all times, which is why we have local technician teams that are alerted the second any widespread interruptions occur in any area to get you online asap 👍 Whether the interruption was caused by digging from crews outside our own, serve weather, or animal tampering, they always do a great job of getting on top of things for our customers.

Was the status you mentioned coming directly from xfinity.com/support/statusmap? If not I would recommend checking it out as it provides up-to-the-minute updates on any area interruptions, including estimated times for restoration 🙌

Status was from the map and mobile app. Cause - network damage. It is back up now (phew).

But still wondering how can we communicate location data to local Xfinity Tech teams.
