Service interruptions - daily
Ever since planned maintenance that occurred in April 2026 the internet service in Cromwell, CT goes out almost every day. Today it has been out since 9:30am and it is now 2pm. I work from home and need reliable internet service. It is impossible to speak to a live agent who can explain what is happening in my service area that we keep experiencing almost daily outages. I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time and have never experienced consistent outages like this before. I’m at end of my rope with xfinity. I think it is time to switch to a new provider. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with xfinity.

Fellow Xfinity customers….using this support forum and direct messaging was a complete waste of my time. All you get are the standard responses and it takes the agent about 10 minutes to respond each time while you go back and forth. I got no where with the agent. Unfortunately I’m in an area where Xfinity does have much competition so they take us for granted. They don’t invest in the network and it’s become unusable. I found a different provider and will be canceling soon. Xfinity is one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. Horrible customer support. Been a customer in total for over 25 years. Do yourself a favor and find a different provider.
