I'm sorry that the scheduled payment did not prevent the services from being interrupted. I understand that having your services active is vital, especially when they are needed for working or schooling from home!
There are a few options for accounts to secure services when setting up payments and making an arrangement. If you need to set up a future payment, the account would have to be eligible for a payment arrangement and setting up that option is only available through chatting with the Xfinity Assistant. When you set up the payment did you work with the Xfinity Assistant? That is the only way to ensure the account will not be impacted.
