Service down for a week

I’m gonna lose it. My service has been down since Monday. They’re working on the lines. Blah blah blah FOR A WHOLE WEEK?  Can’t get a real person to talk too to save your life.  I’m in Sterling Hts. I WANT HELP NOW. I have done everything their robot told me to do. When will this get fixed?

kjcece - Thank you for your feedback and for joining us here on the Xifnity Forums for an update on your services. You've reached the right team for help. I know how important it is to stay informed when your service isn’t working the way it should, and I want to make sure you have the easiest ways to get real‑time updates. The quickest and most reliable place to check for interruption information in your area is the Xfinity Status Center at:
https://www.xfinity.com/support/status
You can also use the Xfinity app, which gives you the same details right from your phone.
And if you’ve registered your mobile number for Comcast Alerts, you’ll automatically receive helpful text updates—including estimated resolution times, periodic progress updates, and a final confirmation when everything is back up and running.
If you prefer, you can also text OUT to 266278 (COMCST) to see if there’s a known interruption in your area. (Standard messaging and data rates may apply.) You’ll also have the option to get a text as soon as your services are restored.
One more thing that might help: Xfinity WiFi hotspots. There are millions of them available across our service areas to help keep you connected while we work on the issue. When you’re near one, look for the xfinitywifi or XFINITY network name in your device’s WiFi list.
If you need anything else or want help checking your service, I’m here for you!
