Service at new home construction location

Hello- we are building a new home on a private road and our neighbors have XFinity. It is the only service in the area and need to arrange for wires to be pulled to our house. Who do I speak to to start the process - we are moving in 6 months but would like Xfinity to use the existing infrastructure our builder is using for other services. Thank you.

The concern is not "Home Security Devices And Equipment" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

8ValleyVista Good morning, and thanks for reaching out for help with adding your new home soon to our serviceable area. We can certainlly assist with getting this done. Is the new address currently added to the USPS system of addresses at this time? For us to start the process, we need to make sure the home is registered with the postal service first.

Yes the address is registered with the USPS however does not have a mailbox installed yet.  We can do install one.

Mailbox isn't required for us to get this process started. Just being in there system is what we require as our serviceability team starts with confirming the address is an actual address which they use the USPS system for. I'll be happy to get a ticket in to get this started for you.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
