Service Appointments
I had a service install appointment scheduled for 8/18, and no technician showed up during the two hour window. I expressed my disappointment via the Xfinity chat and also in person at a store and got a new appointment scheduled for 8/24. Again, no technician showed up during the two hour window on 8/24. I have wasted a number of hours now, between standing around during those worthless two hour appointments, and chatting with the app, and trying to figure out what is going on. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever received from Comcast or elsewhere, and it is incredibly disappointing. I have now rescheduled my service appointment for 8/26, and fingers crossed someone shows up. Could someone with Xfinity let me know why no one was showing up to my service appointments?

Hello @user_e76rog, and thank you for reaching out. We sincerely apologize for the multiple missed appointments and the time you've wasted. We understand how frustrating and unacceptable this is, and it is certainly not the standard of service we strive to provide. While we can't see the specific reasons for the missed appointments here, there are a few possible causes, such as a prior job running long or an internal communication error where the appointment was not properly dispatched. Regardless of the reason, the responsibility is ours to ensure a technician arrives as scheduled.
If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
