Service Appointment

My service line was knocked down in a storm last Saturday. The first available appointment for a technician to come out is next Saturday. This has happened in the past and once the technician arrived, they realized they needed a police detail to reconnect us which sometimes delays the resolution another day or two. I would like to ensure the technician coming on Saturday is aware in advance that they may need a police detail so this can be fully resolved on Saturday as this will already be a full week without service. I tried calling and cannot get through to an actual person. I was transferred once into a black hole and otherwise to all automated systems.

dougdar Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I’m really sorry, that’s frustrating when your TV isn’t working, and you just want to relax. I want to help get this figured out. What exactly is happening with the TV right now? Is it not turning on, showing a message, or no picture? Have you tried restarting it by unplugging it for a minute?
