Self install question
I'm trying to sign up for a new plan but am unsure about the self-install process. I looked around my house and don't see any cable coming in other than a fiber from verizon. I assume this means there will be a required visit by a technician to get the cable to my house (I see one just outside of my backyard). Does this still work with a self-install kit or am I supposed to choose a technician-assisted visit? I have no problem connecting the cable to my model once it's in my house.
Thanks for any help!

Hello @neromike and thank you! I really appreciate you being a member of the Comcast Family! Professional installs will typically cost $100. If we've never connected service to a customer's home, then a technician needs to verify the integrity of the home's wiring. We can check the install history of your residence please send a private message with your name and service address by clicking on the chat icon at the top right of the page. Then select the Xfinity Support tab to start the chat session.
