Security Alert

This is Maria [Edited: "Personal Information"], the account is under [Edited: "Personal Information"], Maria called on May 23, 2025, Fridayregarding a fraudulent security error with my line on the Internet.  Spoke with Xfinity Security, Mark [Edited: "Personal Information"] Security Tech Level II ID:[Edited: "Personal Information"] in Pennsylvania Nick or Nicholas [Edited: "Personal Information"] he stated everybody called him. Nick Senior technician level V ID: [Edited: "Personal Information"].  They claim that we had a security alert with 14 users using my Internet line and that they wanted to troubleshoot some information on the phone with me, trying to get information out of me and as soon as Nick stated anything with “Federal Trade Commission” FTC this is when the call disconnected. He stated that if I had any money going into my bank account and cryptocurrency that they’re going to report it to the Federal Trade Commission.  I reply NO if there was any kind of fraudulent activity I wouldn’t have deposited in my bank account. I would definitely report it to the Federal Trade Commission, which I had indicated I have that’s when he hung up the call. I tried calling back the number he called from It just came up as Xfinity, ended up all the way in the Philippines, with Diane told her a little bit about the story and she couldn’t help. I hung up immediately call 215-286-1700 the corporate office, spoke to ED, told him the story what just happened wrote it up gave me an escalation number [Edited: "Personal Information"], stated if I don’t get a call back by Monday the 26, 2025 to give us back a call at [Edited: "Personal Information"].  Today, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 received a call from someone named David. I wasn’t sure who this was wasn’t secure speaking to him, tried calling escalations again, could not get through. I kept getting the Philippines over and over loop, like somebody had my phone tampered with. It was so odd this is why I’m reaching out through the Internet to send you this email. I finally did get through to the number ED give me left a message to call me it did state Dave now I’m waiting for a reply to see if it was the same person that called me earlier today, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 please give me some information or if you could text or email that would be great to confirm If it was legit, Thank you, Have a good day
