Second home in non Comcast area

Comcast is not available in the area where we have another home and we have had Direct TV and Atlantic broadband for internet for our renters.

We are now not renting it any more and have just cut the direct tv cord.

We have a Samsung smart tv that is a few years old.

Are there any options we have that we can do on that tv with our Comcast account?

Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums! Our Xfinity Stream app that is available on select models of smart TVs does require an Xfinity internet connection so I am sorry that there wouldn't be a way to utilize that on your smart TV. You do have access to the Stream app on your smart phones and tablets though! You may not be able to live stream every channel without being connected to your in home network but you would still be able to access some On Demand programming. I hope this information is helpful.

 

If it's been awhile since you last checked to see if the address is within our serviceable area I would be happy to double check and see if we may have expanded our footprint to include your second home. All you would need to do is just send us a private message with your name and service address to Xfinity Support by clicking the chat icon at the top right of the page.
