seasonal service help

I have my account on seasonal service hold with the internet. I was told that this would be enough to run my security cameras. I have been on the seasonal hold for almost a month now and my security cameras do not work. I have made multiple phone calls to customer service and was told everything from my gateway was powered up to the full internet connection as a courtesy to me (it was not) , to there is a problem with your area and we will fix it overnight. That wasn't the case at all.  I went through hours of people "sending signals and then stronger signals" ([Edited: "Language"]) and unplugging and plugging in the gateway. Nothing is working. I am at my wits end. What I really need for this to work is to keep my internet at full speed and I am very willing to pay my regular rate for that and then to put just the cable tv on seasonal hold. Xfinity refuses to help me with any of it and state that they can do nothing if I am on seasonal hold. As I understand it, if I take my account off seasonal hold, I wont be able to put it back for on for 60 days? That defeats the purpose of the whole thing. I really need some help with this other than someone in the Phillipines .

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_dgd340 Thanks for reaching out about your seasonal hold/internet speed concern. I would be happy to see how I can assist you.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
