Seasonal Internet Access Plan
In late December, I attempted to sign up, via the website, for the Seasonal Internet Access Plan. We are snowbirds. We use this service when we leave Florida for New Hampshire in the summer. I was unable to find this option on line, so spent nearly 2 hours on a call to Xfinity. I repeatedly told the tech, at least 7 times, I wanted seasonal with internet at $29+. He had difficulty … kept putting me on hold … but finally said he completed my request. We have a smart home in NH, so definitely need Internet!! We arrived in Fl. on 12/27. I checked NH smart devices on 28th: no connectivity! Called Xfinity was told seasonal with Internet is not available in the northeast. This is crazy. I’ve been with Xfinity forever. Why isn’t this service available in the northeast? What are my options? Thank you.

@mikep198 This isn't the experience we want any customer to have. We can look into your account details to confirm this if you want about the seasonal plan. If the seasonal plan isn't an option, then we have no other options besides that. To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a Direct Message.
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

Simply put: I need the seasonal plan with Internet. This is what I have with Xfinity when we leave Florida in the summer. The basic seasonal plan does not work for people with smart devices in their home. Had I known I was not getting the plan I requested before I left NH for the winter, I would have set our thermostat correctly, set timers on lights, etc. I blame Xfinity for this mess!
