Scheduled outage 3/9/2023

I received a notice that there will be a scheduled outage on the above date with the message "

Getting our network ready for next-generation Internet speeds"

Can anyone tell me how long I might expect the outage to be?  Is there any way to find out when it may occur?  I work from home and really need to know what plan of action I need to take.

Hello @user_0406d3 Thank you for reaching out to our forums for help with the upcoming network maintenance. This work is happening across all of our areas to improve our network to support upgrading speeds and services. During the process you may experience intermittent service issues, but we are unable to see the specifics of how long an interruption may happen. Based on customers I have worked with in other areas, they experienced slower network speeds for several hours, others found lost connections throughout the day and some even reported no issues at all. I'm sorry I don't have a better expectation to set since the impact has varied for so many. You can always check here to check your area for known interruptions. The Xfinity app can is also easy to check for area issues and will give you the latest as far as expected time frames for resolution or work completion.

@XfinityPaula Thanks so much for your quick response.  Now that I know the possible scenarios that might play out on 3/9, I know what I need to do.
