Scheduled maintenance

This is the last straw with Xfinity Services. I should be able to know when you are doing your scheduled maintenance so I don't have to stop working from home. I pay $167 a month minimum a month

 I am going to be looking into Verizon Wireless Internet or T-Mobile at this point.. They are cheaper. Also the time to come back on was 2:50 and now it says as soon as possible.. It's cool as long as you guys like losing valued customers and money

@user_b77f2b Thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums. I work from home too, so I understand the need to know when maintenance will occur. You can set up push notifications on the Xfinity app so that you are made aware of this type of event in advance. You can update your account communications at Xfinity.com. To send a "Direct Message" message:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
