Scheduled maintenance updated times

We have been without any service for today. We received an email saying it was expected to be completed within the day. It is not completed and I cannot get any updated ETAs nor speak to a human given the status. How do I get an updated time for service being restored.

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_x58rlk! Our status center is the best way to check on the status of maintenance and service interruptions. You can also check for interruptions using the Xfinity app on your mobile phone. After you log in, you'll see a banner immediately if you're impacted by an interruption. Tap it to get more details. Additionally, you can text OUT to 266278 (COMCST) to check for interruptions in your area. Data and messaging rates may apply.

 

You can also choose the option to "Text me with updates" to receive a text message update as soon as your Xfinity services are restored. To do this:

 

Sign into xfinity.com.


Click the Account icon  and then click Support.


Scroll down to Common Solutions and click View Status Center.



If you're experiencing an interruption, you'll see a banner at the top of the Status Center and interruption Map pages.

 

Select the Text me with updates button.


Enter your mobile phone number in the field provided and select the Get a Text button.

 

You'll get a confirmation message saying you're signed up to receive a text when your services are restored.

How can I see an updated timeline for how much longer I will be without service? A text when it is restored is not helpful I can know it is restored. A time when it will be restored is helpful

There may not be an update available, however, we can certainly take a further look @user_x58rlk! Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:


Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
