schedule a technician
I need to schedule a technician for the street lines, not the home. We had one technician out a few weeks ago who checked everything and said the issues we were having were due to the signal at the street, but that's not something he could address and would have to get another technician out. If that was done or not, we are still having the same issues with internet dropping every few minutes, long enough to disconnect work calls, disrupt streaming playback, and make usage of xfinity services unbearable.
The automated chat support is horrible, by the way. how many times does it want me to troubleshoot before escalating or helping to schedule a technician?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_bqjoij I apologize for the continued and frustrating experience with your internet service and our automated support. As someone that works from home I completely understand how important a steady connection is.
Our standard process involves a home visit technician who then escalates complex network issues to the outside maintenance or "line" crews if the problem is beyond your home's wiring.
If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
