To further assist, please send us a direct message with your name and address. You can start by clicking the chat icon located in the top right corner on your forums page when signed in. Once there, you can search for "Xfinity Support" to compose your peer to peer ("private") message.

"Search" is not likely to work for a first-time poster.

@user_374a1f: To send the requested information in a private message to Xfinity Support from any forums.xfinity.com page:

  • Click "Sign In" if that prompt is visible  

  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging  

  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person" but don't do that. It won't work.

      Instead, type Xfinity Support there. As you are typing a drop-down list appears.

  • Select "Xfinity Support" from the list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

  • Press Enter or tap the > icon to send it
