SCHEDUALED MAITNANCE

Why is it that we're not notified when there's going to be scheduled maintenance.
Some of us are trying to make a living at 2am but are unable to especially if we keep this network any longer,
I tried calling customers service last week unfortunately the Automated call system told me this is an issue
no one could help with and hung up it's very frustrating that in the last week we've had outages 3 times!!!!
And in the last month we'll over 6 times.IS THERE A WAY TO GET NOTIFICATIONS FOR THIS?

user_2c6zv5 Great question and you can sign up once you see the interruption notification when you log in to the app.

Also, we recommend making sure your number is verified with us and you can sign up to receive proactive text notifications (when available). To opt  into receiving outage messages, send START to 266278. You’ll be re-enrolled in outage messages.

At this time, we're only sending proactive messages for certain types of events. We plan to expand this program to include more events.

If you do not see the option to sign up for notifications through the app, we can also assist here just send us a direct message.

To send a direct message:
  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
