Scamming Agents

Last week, I called to ask for a cheaper bundle and after negotiating with MULTIPLE agents, finally I got an agent that got me a deal. That agent got disconnected, but the next agent said the deal went through and gave me a confirmation number and the whole "rest assured it has gone through" when it did not go through and I never got confirmation. I have been on the chat with multiple agents since last week and each time it was a game with each one of these overseas people. I was on the phone with someone yesterday and that was my breaking point-the fact that she was laughing at me,tried to offer me a bundle more than my current one is, tried to get me to sign up for the mobile services, told me her dad died yesterday, and then ASKED FOR MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. Are you [Edited: "Language"] kidding me? I hung up on her and immediately after I hung up on her, I received about 10 texts in a row with different codes which I'm sure are scam links to try and steal my identity cause clearly that was her scammer intentions. I am just disgusted with Xfinity. Are you all running a trafficking call center for agents to scam people for their social security numbers and waste people's time for their own enjoyment? I have all the chats saved and downloaded. What's the point of lying when I have evidence? What's the point of giving a confirmation number for something that was never put into action!? This has been a very frustrating and aggravating experience and waste of time. What's even more frustrating is the fact that I can't even sign up for ATT or Verizon internet because neither of them run through my neighborhood so Xfinity just holds a monopoly in my town.

Hello, @user_kmlp78

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
