Scam

Had a call offering 50% off for 2 years if I paid first 6 months in advance with target gift csrss

i knew it was a scam and hung up but want to make sure no weird payments were made to account as they knew a lot of my information. 

[Edited: "possible malicious number"] was the number that called me.

Hi. I have the same thing. I got a phone then I called back .  I was not thinking straight .  They offered me 50 percent then ask to use target credit card or gift card. to pay 900 dollars. so. I got an email from scammer so I looked at the email address .  The address was [Edited: "Possible phishing email". it was red flag  I already reported phishing.   just be careful.

It was a 3rd party data breach of a former Xfinity vendor, Xfinity was just fined $1.5 Million for it. Xfinity not taking actions to protect it's affected customers from further exposure to this scam and is not warning its affected customers that their data was stolen.
