Scam or not?

I received a phone call earlier today from what looked like a Comcast number. The caller ID said Comcast. It was someone with an Indian accent who asked me if I was at home because my internet was compromised. I was not at home at the time and told him I would be at home at 1:00. He told me he would call back. Is this legitimate or a scam? 

On another note, Comcast customer service is now the absolute worst. It's impossible to speak to a human being. How horrible. As soon as possible I will get another company. And I will never get cell phone service from Comcast because of how horrible the customer service is.

Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window   
Press Enter to send it
