SCAM advisory

I have received two voicemails recently from [Edited: "Personal Infomation"].  The message they left was:

"Hi there, this call is from Comcast Xfinity to let you know that now you can get your existing services with us for only $79.99 per month, including all taxes.  To avail this offer, kindly call us at [Edited: "Personal Infomation"] from 8 AM till 4 PM Pacific standard time thank you and have a great day."

If this is a real offer, I'd be delighted to accept, but I'm seriously doubting this is anything but a scam.  Could someone at Comcast please confirm for me if this offer happens to be genuine?  Like I said, I'll fall over myself accepting that one.  

Otherwise, I'm just leaving this here in case anyone gets a similar call, but their level of service and billing is such that this might be plausible.  It's definitely not a plausible offer for my account.

To send a direct message [private message]:

  •    Click "Sign In" if necessary
  •    Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  •    Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  •    The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
  •    - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  •    - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  •    Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  •    Press Enter to send it

I also received the same voicemail today and believe it’s a scam.  I really had to 😂 since I’m 99.9% sure that price would never be offered by Comcast/xfinity!
