Rude Employee

Hello. I never file complaints like this, but I feel as though something needs to be addressed about an employee’s professionalism at the XFinity store on youree drive in Shreveport, LA. While I was waiting to speak to an employee at the store to pick up my internet equipment, I saw the bag with my name on it. In retrospect, I should have waited, I will admit. I did grab the bag and continued to wait. There were 3 employees that I saw in the store (6/7/25 at around 2-3:00 pm), and the one I will be referencing is an African American female (descriptors to identify the employee as she was the only employee to fit this description) with grey hair. She loudly said “you weren’t supposed to go back there” and scoffed, to which I apologized and explained that I didn’t know. (Again, in retrospect, I shouldn’t have grabbed it.) Eventually, another worker came to help me. He was very kind and helpful. The employee mentioned prior began loudly announcing “yes she went and grabbed that herself” multiple times. This was humiliating and rude. It was my first time in an Xfinity store or picking up an internet router in general, and she ensured that she could humiliate me in front of all of the guests in the store along with the other employees. Again, I acknowledge my fault in this and will know next time not to grab the bag with my name on it. But this employee’s actions were completely uncalled for. Honestly, I’m considering finding a different internet provider due to this negative experience.
