Rude customer support agent, thank you for making me cancel my service...

I don't know if comcast cares or not (most likely not), I have been with comcast for pretty long time (15+ years) and always was treated pretty good, until recently got a new bill for my internet service that went up 70%!!!, so I went on chat and asked the representative on how to get the current promotion that is available on exfinity.com website, she told me that she was limited on what she can do but I should call their loyalty team and they will be able to help me out.  Long story short, I called the phone number that the chat lady provided me and talked to the some rude guy who had zero intensions of helping me, he got me so frustrated that I just canceled the service on the spot.

Comcast use to be the company that cared about their long term customers, very sad to see that change.

@sania4 You should most definitely never feel that you were mistreated or disrespected. We want customer service to always be our best 'product' and want you to always have an exceptional experience when you need to reach out. I'm sorry this was not the case today. As part of the Digital Care corporate team, I will be able to assist with your concerns and forward the feedback appropriately.

Please send me a Direct Message with your name and service address so that I can fully dive into this for you! I will leave you instructions on how to initiate the message with us! I look forward to working with you soon!

- Click "Sign In" if necessary
- Click the "Direct Message" icon (upper right corner of this page)
- Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
- Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
- Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
- Press Enter to send your message

Good morning Dena, thank you for replying, I tried to send you a Direct Message, but can't find your name in the list.

@sania4 this might help:

(Full credit to @BruceW for this excellent explanation!)

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

  •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

  •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

  • Press Enter to send it
