Router won’t connect to internet after service transfer

I transferred service between two different units in the same apartment complex. My internet disconnected this morning in the former apartment, but when I set the router up in the new apartment, it just blinks orange. I’ve tried unplugging the power and coax and plugging it back in and nothing is working. Why can’t my router connect to the internet?

user_1aye4g Thanks so much for reaching out to us here to let us know about the issue you are experiencing with your move! It sounds like the outlet you are connected to might not be active, are there any other coaxial cable outlets in the home you could try?

This was it! I feel silly now. There was another coax port. Thanks!

user_1aye4g, Awesome! While we have you, and if you have time, would you like us to do a quick account review to make sure that your services are meeting your household needs?

The concern is not "Home Security Devices And Equipment" help related........... Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
