Router shipped immediately even though I requested a later date.
I recently set up internet service for a property that I will be moving into soon. When purchasing the plan, I entered my move-in date as the requested delivery date, assuming that shipping would be delayed until then. However, the very next day, I got a notification that the set-up kit had already shipped. I do not have access to this property, nor do I have contact with the current tenants. How should I go about this moving forward? Will I be held responsible if the package gets lost in the meantime? Will I begin to be charged for internet service that I don’t even have access to yet?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_q7y32s Thank you for making us aware of the equipment being shipped prior to your move in date. Don't worry, we can always submit a ticket to have the device recorded as lost/stolen. If you can, I would reach out property manager to see if they can help get the package (if available). I would also like to help monitor this order to make sure we get this sorted out once you move in to your new house.
