Road bore 30+ day wait

My home in Grand Rapids has been waiting for a road bore to get any internet. The road is private and so no permits required. We are now 5 weeks in with no idea when they will do the work. We know they are coming to survey soon. We have no internet. We anticipated 14 business days but as we get to 30 business days with no work and no survey for the work complete, is this unusual?

I sent a DM to Xfinity Support. I have someone on the executive CS team working on this. However we are 5 weeks in right now to the request and we have no temporary line, and the only feedback is they will be out possibly next week to "survey" and scope out the project. So 6 weeks to just get somebody to look at this to figure out what needs to get done. The road is privately owned and requires no permits. So we are just waiting on Xfinity's construction partner to do the work.

I have asked numerous times for someone to come out to run a temp line but even that has no date scheduled. So almost 6 weeks in and we dont know when we will get a temp or permanent line installed. The "box" for fiber is 20 feet away from our home. It feels like Xfinity needs better partners if they are going to outsource work because all the CS reps are just blaming them. Feels like a priority problem where Xfinity is prioritizing high ROI jobs over single households and I cant even pay to expedite this. We have no internet and Xfinity is our only available option.
