Rewire problem
I was told I need a rewire. Problem is the team doesn’t know who to contact to get it done. I’ve been out of internet for 5 days and have zero clue when I’ll get it back. What am I paying $80 for if I can’t get accommodation for how long I’m out of internet and with no time line to restoration. All I was offered was to lower my mbps and give me internet tv for $10 off my bill. Internet tv I CANT EVEN USE I DONT HSVE INTERNET. like honestly come on now.

@user_zvzkbf Thanks for adding a post to the community. We know staying connected is important. Any licensed electrician company can perform a rewire for one or multiple units. A local crew that is licensed is all that we recommend, they are usually pretty quick. In the meantime I get having limited or no service isn't ideal, been there before and know it's vital to get a reliable connection again asap. If setting the service to a low speed while the work happens is not ideal, we also have the option to pause the service and place it in a seasonal mode. Check the details here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/seasonal-convenience-plan-enrollment. It is best served when traveling, but can be another way to save money. If you keep service on even at a low speed, you get to enjoy the benefit of using the Xfinity Hotspots. Either in your direct location, or in public areas. It's another way to stay connected to the internet, at least for now while the repairs take place.
