Rewire Cable Line

Good evening,

Comcast was installed many years ago (15+ years ago) and back then they ran the cable line around the frame of my office closet door and then into the wall. It looks extremely tacky and it hangs loose near the very end closest to the floor. When we had our service interrupted, the tech who came out to fix it also took note of the wiring inside the closet and stated that it was something that should be addressed at some point, and rewired so that it goes into the floor rather than tacked around the wall (not sure of the exact wording). (He also replaced something under the house, because he stated it was terribly outdated but I'm not sure what it was - service (especially internet) had improved since then) Is this a service comcast provides? Is there a cost associated with it? Just curious, because it is something that we want rewired.

@user_jessica Hi there, thanks for the post. We used to provide wall fishing installments, which sounds like what was suggested, but not any more sadly. Did the tech provide any next steps for that?
