Rewards is a Scam!
I'm new to rewards - I have been with xfinity 20+ years and a Diamond member.
So, I selected the Stream Savor option to get the $15/mo bundling Netflix, AppleTv+ and Peacock. (I already had Netflix.) I thought I might like to try AppleTv and Peacock.
Well, my monthly bill increased $28! Since I upgraded my plan I am now subject to the increased prices for everything else plus the $15 which now costs me $28 more a month. Effectively, by adding AppleTv and Peacock, I now pay $28 more. Not worth it.
I am unable to activate Peacock - message pops up "Something went wrong" and the live chat xfinity person couldn't even help me.
I am so mad that I accepted the Reward! They won't even undo the reward and put my account back to what it was before, they could only cancel the reward. So, effectively, I am paying more now on a monthly basis than I was before and I have lost Netflix.
If you have been a loyal customer with a Diamond status beware that if you select any upgrades what it will do to your account. I think it is a scam to get you to pay the increased pricing while thinking you are getting a good deal.
Thanks xfinity! When I first looked at all the rewards I was so excited. And even considered switching my mobile to xfinity. Not NOW!
