100% SCAM.... I cant believe after so long I get this treatment. The so-called promotions are scams. They don't mention any regulations or conditions. The agents working there are full of it. They just tell you that you qualify for their plan but never tell you the conditions. Their excuse is "oh you were supposed to read the agreement, we don't disclose any conditions on the chat or the phone", "we suggest next time read the agreement". I had to move to my new place and was forced to cancel my account with Xfinity. Even then I was penalized for something that was never disclosed to me. When I call, they tell me something different. When I chat, they don't even know what they are doing. If you stay with them they try to help you but if you cant stay, they will take as much money as they can from you. If this happens to a loyal client for over ten year, imagine how they treat new customers. My whole family has Xfinity but after what they showed me I see my family is also getting robbed. Thank you Xfinity for showing why you have no good reviews.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@EG I am sorry but nothing is getting resolved. Just because I cant have Xfinity for now I get treated like nothing. Your agents don't think that I would come back when I can. I do customer service and I know that an agent is supposed to disclose the conditions of the agreement. I dont tell clients "Oh next time read the agreement that you signed"

Jorge_1987 The terms of the term agreement you received and approved outline the Early Termination Fee including the conditions if you are to break that agreement and how the Early Termination Fee will be added to your Final Bill. Even in situations where our services are not available if you are moving the Early Term still applies. We understand things may change and be mostly out of your control but the Term agreement still applies. In many situations, if someone mentions that moving is even a remote possibility we may recommend going with a lesser-term agreement or no agreement at all, it is case-by-case of what someone decides to do, but we are sorry that you are in this position.

@XfinityBenjaminM nothing was explained to me. All I got was a text message and I was told to agree to start the plan. No options were given, no explanation about the agreement if I had an option for no agreement. Now that I am cancelling my account is when I find out this conditions. You keep mentioning that it was mentioned on the agreement. I was told just to agree to get the plan nothing was explained about early termination. If you talk to a client, are you telling me that your agents don't explain the terms and conditions? They just tell you to agree and if you dont read it then [Edited: "Language"] for you?

It is being more than 10 years with Xfinity and you are saying that there is nothing you can do to help me?

Jorge_1987 The Early Termination Fee is a valid charge when assessed to an account and a full disconnect takes place before the term is fulfilled.

If you are under a contract and you need to cancel service, you may be subject to an early termination fee (ETF).

If you move to a Comcast serviceable area, and transfer service, you are not charged.
If you move to a Comcast serviceable area, and do not sign up for service, then the ETF would apply.
If you move to a non-Comcast serviceable area, then the ETF does apply.
If it is an active duty military deployment, then the ETF will be waived when you send documentation.
If the account holder is deceased, the ETF will be waived upon receiving a death certificate or obituary.
If you downgrade service, then the ETF will not apply.
If you have a Double/Triple Play and remove all but one service, then the ETF will not apply.
