Returned Equipment After Cancelling Internet But Still Being Charged

I cancelled all Xfinity services a few months ago and returned the Xfinity modem to my local Xfinity store the same day. I have since received numerous (upwards of 20) texts stating that I still need to return my equipment and that I am being charged for not having returned it. I already did return my only piece of equipment in person. My latest bill says that I should be getting $49.59 as a credit, but instead I got charged $55.00 for "Unreturned Equipment" even though I returned all of the equipment I still had on the day I cancelled my internet.

I would like to have the status of my equipment marked as returned since I literally handed my modem to an Xfinity employee over 2 months ago. I would also like the phantom charge of $55.00 for unreturned equipment to be reversed and for my credit of $49.59 to be applied to my payment account.

Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
