@user_0a3d0f Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us! I totally understand how it is challenging to make time to make it to a store. We recommend that you return the modem as soon as you can, so you don't get charged a monthly fee for the modem you are not using. Usually you have a month or 2 to return it, before that would happen, but our system does audits and will automatically add the charge if the modem remains on the account.
You can return the modem you arent using at any UPS or Xfinity store, and if it is easier, you can also schedule UPS to pick up your modem from your home! You would just need to print a return shipping label, and box the equipment for the last option. To learn more, you can go here .
