retention department

I just cancelled my phone and tv with Xfinity.  I went in to get the internet rate that is being offered to new customers and was told that I would be charged almost double because I am an existing customer.  The new customers have the rate locked in the lower rate for 5 years.  TMobile is offering a lower rate.  I wanted to talk with the retention department before I closed my account of 20 years for good.  Do you want to keep a customer or not?

My husband has carried our comcast in his name. Our daughter will become a new customer at the same address. We are discontinuing our account. She should get the 5 year guarantee correct?

@user_j1stov Thank you for reaching and sharing your interest in our pricing options. To be transparent, new customer pricing is not available for customers with existing accounts. This includes cancelling an active account and opening a new one, as that would be a violation of you policy.
