Residential Xfinity order created for commercial unit – Order # [Edit]
Hello,
My name is [Edited: "Personal Information"]. I need this issue reviewed because the residential Xfinity order was not created by mistake on my side.
I first went in person to an Xfinity store and provided my lease showing that the service address is a commercial unit. The Xfinity store representatives reviewed the information, created the order, and then sent me a link to complete the registration and payment setup online.
I followed the link they provided, completed the registration, selected the plan, and added my payment card for automatic billing.
Order number: [Edited: "Personal Information"]
Service address:[Edited: "Personal Information"]
A technician later arrived and informed me that the unit is commercial, there is no residential Xfinity line/drop available, and he could not complete the installation.
I need Xfinity to review what happened because I disclosed from the beginning that this was a commercial location and provided the lease at the store.
Please confirm in writing:
- The current status of this order.
- That I will not be charged for the failed installation or service that was never activated.
- Whether any payment or authorization already placed on my card will be released or refunded.
- That the residential order will be fully canceled if it cannot be installed at this commercial address.
Please also provide written confirmation once this is resolved.
Thank you.
