Resetting Password

A couple of weeks ago I got an email from Comcast/Xfinity saying I needed to reset my password for security reasons.  I did so and everything works fine.  (I can't seem to find that email anywhere on my system)  Then today I get a letter from Comcast/Xfinity saying that my password was reset and wanted to make sure that it was me that did it.    Is this all legit?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@margene1636 Thanks for posting on our Community Forums. There was a request sent to reset passwords to protect your security and information. Typically, once a password is reset, an email would be sent as a safety measure, just in case there was ever an incident that was not done by the account holder. You should be fine, but I understand the concern and wanting to check!

Thank you.  I was hoping that was what the letter was about.

margene1636,

I believe your question refers to a USPS-delivered letter you received. I also received a paper letter from Comcast that was delivered by USPS to verify that I changed my password.
