Requesting site survey

I just moved into a new home in a brand new, new construction neighborhood. I was originally told that my home would be serviceable by Comcast but when I called to do so I was told my address is not serviceable. We currently can only get ATT internet and Direct TV Satellite, neither of which we want.

What can we do to get service at our home? I read something about a site survey. Can someone tell how that works and if it can help in my situation?

Hi, @Alexbans88! Thank you for your interest in our services. We can submit a ticket to our serviceability team to survey the area and determine if we're able to service your home and what the cost would be to do so. Can you please click the Direct Messaging icon at the top right of the page, click on the pen and pad icon and enter Xfinity Support in the "To" section of the chat and provide us with your first and last name and the address so we may further assist you.

A site survey was conducted and it was concluded that our area can be serviced after the construction department runs the cable. It is expected to take 60-120 days.

Great! That's wonderful news. Thanks for the update. Please let us know when the work is completed, so we can set up an account for you.

I no longer work for Comcast.
