Requesting an update on service at my address
Apparently I have to post this publicly before I can get access to the option to direct message an Xfinity support employee, so here you go:
Please confirm in writing that my address:
<address omitted for privacy>
requires construction and/or a line extension in order for me to receive gigabit internet service. In addition, include any and all related work-order numbers that may currently be in progress at this address. The status of my situation was relayed to me when a technician came to our home roughly a month ago to install service only to discover that a line had never been installed to our property.
Attempting to contact a representative over the phone has proved pointless in this matter since they never have access to the appropriate information and I have been told that directly messaging the forums is the only reliable way for me to get an appropriate response.
I will be using this information to file a claim with the FCC indicating that service has been erroneously stated as being available at my address.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @jringenb
Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! We can help verify service to your residence. I noticed you sent a DM as well. Please be reminded that sending unsolicited Direct Messages to an Official Employee of the Xfinity Community Forum is a violation of Forum Guidelines. In the future we ask that you please find the most appropriate public board for your question type and post it there. If needed, we may invite you to send us a Direct Message. Since you already sent a DM, we will continue to assist you there!
